The Mesa family lives in a self built home nestled in the forest high on a hillside in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Their beautiful home and surrounding grounds are a, continually changing gallery of Hugos' work.

The Mesas share their corner of paradise with many woodland creatures that stop by to visit. Hugo captures the essence of these creatures to be shared in many of his works.
